The homepage content will be changing frequently, so be sure to visit us often for updates on the production process, fun and funky rehearsal pictures, and blog postings from some rather over the top characters. Navigation is now much more streamlined too, allowing you to buy tickets, donate, subscribe, or follow us on Facebook and Twitter all with a mere click of the mouse.

To usher in our teenage years, we have a season filled with all the conflicting emotions, desperate choices, and bad behavior one associates with teenagers, all served up in the intimate and innovative style you’ve come to expect from Opera Vivente. Our season begins with Donizetti’s gothic bel canto masterpiece, Lucy of Lammermoor; continues with Handel’s surreal tale of fanaticism, obsession, and sorcery, Rinaldo; and concludes with Puccini’s first opera, The Will-o-the-Wisps, an impassioned story of broken hearts and revenge from beyond the grave. As is our custom, our season features the debuts of some amazing new artists as well as the return of many OV favorites. With stunning music sung in your language, visually arresting design, and provocative story-telling, all at affordable prices, OV’s teenage years promise to be as exciting as our childhood.
